There are two approved installation methods for Coretec Scratchless: Angle Tap Installation and Angle Angle Installation.

In this guide, we will focus on the Angle Angle Installation method, which is preferred for larger format products like Coretec Scratchless.

Follow these step-by-step instructions to properly install Coretec Scratchless flooring:

1. Gather the required tools for the installation.
2. Refer to the complete installation guide for detailed instructions.
3. Start the installation process from left to right.
4. Insert spacers at the ends and edges where the planks meet the walls.
5. Place the second plank tightly against the short end of the first plank. Insert the tongue into the groove at an angle.
6. Fold the plank down into the locked position in a single movement.
7. Repeat this process until the first row is complete.
8. When starting a new row, ensure the first plank is at least eight inches long, and the end joints stagger a minimum of eight inches from the previous row.
9. Place the new plank of the new row at an angle against the plank in the previous row.
10. Press the long edge forward against the previous row and fold it down simultaneously.
11. Insert the long edge at a slight angle until the tongue just touches the groove.
12. Use a tapping block on the long and short edges to engage the plank and ensure a tight fit.
13. Repeat this installation process until the entire space is complete.
14. Measure and cut the last row to fit properly.
15. After the floors are installed, finish your space with coordinating trims and transitions from Coretec.
