TreadBond Adhesive
TreadBond is a high-performance stair adhesive. Performence Accessorie's Treadbond is fast-curing, 100%-solids, moisture-curing adhesive designed for installing wood, HDF, and vinyl stair treads, as well as vinyl and HDF stair noses. Features and Benefits:

- Should not be used as a substitute for screws
- Interior use only; not recommended for areas with hydrostatic moisture or osmotic blistering conditions
- Best applied when substrate temperature is between 40°F and 100°F, with relative humidity above 30%
- Insert TreadBond cartridge into a suitable caulking gun.
- Cut the tip and puncture the inner seal.
- Apply a serpentine bead of adhesive to the substrate.
- Use within 15 to 30 minutes under normal temperature and humidity conditions.
Note: Attached pad must be removed prior to installation of flooring plank on stairs. Flooring plank and stair nosing must be glued down with TreadBond Adhesive or a polyurethane construction adhesive.
- Clean tools with mineral spirits while the adhesive is fresh/wet.
- Remove any adhesive smudges immediately with mineral spirits.
- Dried residue can be gently rubbed off with a white cloth.
